Little Troopers very own illustrator and designer, Dan Butcher has raised over £700 for the charity. In September he took part in the Nuts Challenge with a group of friends completing 14k; climbing over obstacles and scrambling through mud!
Dan said: “Little Troopers is a fantastic charity that I’ve had the privilege to work with for a number of years. I see the hard work that Louise and the team put in and the scores of families their efforts help. This was my contribution to raise some funds for this wonderful charity.”
With obstacles titled Commando assault, Hell River and Kamikaze, the Nuts Challenge promised mud, a water assault course, climbing and crawling. Dan completed two laps of the course and came in 32nd out of 140 participants.
Dan illustrates lots of the charity projects, helped create the logo and more recently illustrated the charity’s book collection. Louise, founder of the charity added, “Dan is a great member of our little team and it means a lot that he completed this mad challenge to raise funds for the charity. As a small charity every penny counts, the £739 that he has raised will ensure we can continue to support military children.”
