Shout out to budding young reporters!
We’re looking for the next generation of young reporters to write for our Little Troopers Gazette. If your child loves writing and would like to see their name in print, get in touch now.
We are inviting little troopers to contribute to the upcoming edition of our unique, newspaper. Our Little Troopers Gazette connects hundreds of military families, schools, and community organizations across the UK. It offers young people a dedicated space to share their lived experiences of military life in print.

If you have an inspiring journalist in the house, we would love them to submit a story for the next edition. Young writers can choose from a variety of pre-set topics, including:
- My Military Life
- What My Parent Does
- My School
- Where I Live
If your little one wants to write something different, they could take on one of our specialized assignments. They could interview local military personnel or veterans, compile a sports report or investigate military history events.
To help prospective journalists get started, we have uploaded downloadable content guides and templates for each topic here. The final deadline for all article submissions is 14th September 2026.
