The Little Troopers Blog

Yellow edition of our Gazette is out now!

The special yellow edition of our Little Troopers Gazette is out now, celebrating the Month of the Military Child. This issue is packed with great stories from our little trooper journalists and more, to keep you busy through the summer months.

Louise, our charity founder said, “I love our yellow edition continuing the theme from our Dandelion day in April. The gazette has become a popular addition to our little troopers resources, sharing news and celebrating our community.”

In this issue, Ellie has shared news of her Get Cakey event and the recipe for her yummy ginger cake. Bea tells us about her Bluey Club at school and Charlie has written about his day at Trooping the Colour.

You can also find out all about SQUAD season two and our Little Troopers clubs, along with games, children’s news and interesting facts.

How to get your copy of the Gazette

Available for free, the Gazette is distributed widely to schools, welfare teams, and military bases as far as Cyprus. Families and organisations can request individual copies or bulk orders of up to 50 newspapers through our online form.

Become a Little Trooper Journalist

Looking ahead to our next edition we are inviting budding young reporters of all ages to submit their own articles. Aspiring writers can find templates, writing tips, and a variety of topic ideas to help get started on our website.

Louise adds, “Writing an article would be a fantastic literacy project for schools or activity for a Little Troopers club!”
