Snowdon Trek has to be Postponed

Our Little Troopers Bi-annual Snowdon Fundraising event is being postponed until the weekend of the 19/20th September 2020, in light of Covid-19. The Snowdon trek takes our charity back to where we started eight years ago, taking on the 3650ft (1085 metre) climb.

Louise Fetigan, Founder of Little Troopers said “We hope that everyone who has signed up to join us can still make the new weekend. Trekking up Snowdon brings back so many special memories for me. Every time we take part, I reflect on the journey me and my family have been through with our own Army life and the way the charity has grown to meet the needs of our serving families. I love to see the children and families pull together to make the climb, encouraging each other and celebrating when we reach the summit.”

Louise added “As we are postponing, we will open up registrations again. This is the perfect event for your family to focus on at this strange time. PE at home, walks in the remote countryside and planning your fundraising could all be part of your new weekly routines.”

Maria Slater was one of the youngest to take on the trek in 2018. She made it to the top with her Mum and Dad and said “I am an army child and I know what it’s like when my daddy goes away. It can be hard.  I like Little Troopers.”

We have everything you need for the weekend; hotel information, the action-packed schedule and sponsorship support. Find out more here.
