Save the Date for the Snowdon Trek 2020

We are delighted to announce the dates for the Bi-annual Snowdon Trek to raise funds for the Charity. It is a great weekend to get together, celebrate the amazing resilience of our Little Troopers and take on a challenge of a 3650ft (1085 metre) climb. Everyone is welcome from across the Military community and beyond.

The Fundraising Trek is taking place over the early Bank Holiday (9thMay 2020) weekend so people can easily get there. This is our fifth fundraising trek up Snowdon and is organised to remember how the charity began. Little Troopers (well its predecessor My Daddy is a Soldier Adventures) was born after Charity founder Louise and Madison climbed Snowdon with a group of friends in 2011. Madison’s Dad was deployed to the Afghanistan conflict at the time and she was struggling. Louise got together with a friend and they planned a trek up Snowdon as fundraising event to help distract the girls. They trained and planned for 3 months and Louise can still remember their screams of joy when they made it to the top!

Louise adds “Our last trek in 2018 was our largest to date with over 75 people joining us. We hope lots more will join us next year. It is such a great fundraising experience raising vital funds for our charity and spending time with the Little Troopers community which has grown to be so special.Across the weekend you will get to meet new people, be part of something amazing and achieve!”
