Little Troopers smiles – Oh no they aren’t – Oh yes they are!

Over one hundred Little Troopers and their families have received free pantomime tickets as part of the Little Troopers Christmas Smile campaign 2018.

The campaign encourages theatres and entertainment companies to donate free tickets to military families who have someone serving away from home over the Festive period.

Louise Fetigan who founded the charity Little Troopers and is an ex-soldier herself says of the scheme “We are so grateful to all who donate tickets to our Christmas Smiles initiative, it is so special to be able to sprinkle some smiles over what can be a difficult time for military families when they have someone serving overseas. We get sent lots of photos of very happy Little Troopers enjoying their tickets, a couple of hours of magic away from the sadness of missing their Mummy or Daddy.”

Theatres in Stoke on Trent, Newcastle, Reading, Oxford, Sheffield, Chatham, Cheltenham, Leicester and Disney on Ice donated tickets.

Michelle Thurgood said:

“Thank you Little Troopers for such an awesome night watching Billionaire Boy! It’s a fantastic show and we’re so grateful for the tickets. And David Walliams walking on stage at the end had my daughter falling off her chair with excitement!!”

The  Woolley family said:
