Little Troopers is asking military children and their families to help raise funds this February. With Lockdown set to continue, why not get the family together and plan an exciting fundraising activity!
2021 marks ten years since the charity’s founder, Louise, started her journey supporting military children, so the charity has created a list of ten fun fundraising activities for you to choose from. The list has something for everyone, from a sponsored silence (which may come as a very welcome break for parents during lockdown!); to a read-a-thon, sponsored walk, community car wash, spare-change challenge or indoor ‘Stairs to Snowdon’ climb. There is even the option for both children and adults to invent their own decathlon challenge.
Louise, founder of the charity, comments: “We hope that Fundraise February gives lots of military children something positive to focus on and a sense of community as they join in this virtual challenge with lots of other Little Troopers out there.
“Despite the lockdown restrictions there are still lots of ways to raise a few pounds and even a small contribution goes a long way to making a big impact. If we can get lots of Little Troopers raising £20 or more this February that will quickly mount up to something amazing! All the money raised will go towards initiatives in 2021 that directly support children who have parents serving in the British Armed Forces.”
Every February, the charity has a focus on fundraising; they chose Valentine’s month as it is the love between a parent and child that keeps families bonded despite the time they spend apart. All of the money we raise helps us continue our work. Being a small charity we are still able to work through these strange times, Click here to see what we achieved in 2020.

As always thank you for all the support you give us.
