Thanks to our fantastic community we have raised nearly £3,000 for our charity’s work during Fundraise February. Through some amazing little fundraisers, supporting businesses and some brilliant events we have had a great month despite the continuing Pandemic restrictions.

Louise, founder of the charity said, “We had no idea how Fundraise February would work this year with the current restrictions. However once again our community has showed us their quiet determination and support. Our online events, Baking with Beca and Zumba, were fantastic as we could all come together to make a positive difference and the brownies were delicious!”

In addition to the fundraising events, military families from across the globe came together, our thanks go to everyone, here are a few of our gorgeous little fundraisers:

• Olivia, aged 3 walked 5K for Little Troopers on Saturday 27th February, she smashed her target of £100, raising £450 to date.
• Ava (age 4) completed a 5K walking challenge along the Peak Forest Canal, after she was supported by the charity while her Army Dad served away from home. Ava has raised £400 so far – incredible.
• Warren, one of our Little Troopers 2020 Calendar stars, started a 10k challenge at the end of February. Warren has raised an amazing £145 so far.
• Two families currently based in Oman decided to walk, run and swim a mammoth challenge of 267km in 6 weeks. Ethan, Caitlyn, Lucas, Eva and Ava whose ages range from 3-17 years old aimed to raise £500 and have exceeded it by raising over £600 with gift aid. The distance amounts to: 
  • Mount Snowdon
  • Mount Kilimanjaro
  • Mount Everest
  • The Three peaks

In addition to our family fundraisers, we are grateful to the businesses that supported us too. Our thanks go to Stanley and Maud, Bonsai Body Jewellery, British Babies, B’s Clothing and Gifts, Arabella Jones, The Doodle Apothecary and Huggable Heroes.
