Last week Military families from Sailsbury Plain, Bovington and Lulworth came together for two events organised by Little Troopers as part of ‘Fundraise February’. Everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon of face painting, crafts, colouring, a bake sale and a raffle.
A total of £334 was raised for the charity. Every penny raised will go towards supporting children who have parents in the British Armed Forces.
Louise, Founder of Little Troopers, said: “It was great to see so many families from the military community come together for these events. Even the smallest of donations makes a big difference and enables us to continue our work helping all the special Little Troopers out there.”
Fundraise February takes place every year to raise money for our Charity. We chose the month of February as our Charity aims to protect the love and bond between Parents and their children even though they spend months apart. The money we raise helps to support all of our charity’s initiatives including a free Storytime app developed in collaboration with Harper Collins and called The Little Troopers Treasures App, as well as a range of online support and resources.
