The 2020 pandemic has shown us that we all have our own mountains to climb. Our charity’s very own bi-annual Snowdon challenge had to be postponed due to COVID-19 – we’ll now be setting off on the 19th September.
As lots of Little Troopers will be too young to join us in climbing Snowdon we have created a ‘Climb a Mountain’ Virtual challenge as well. We would love you to join up and raise vital pennies for Little Troopers…. together we can all make a difference.
We have created a virtual mountains challenge pack with lots of options for you to complete at home or in your local area with your Little Troopers. Or you can take on a solo challenge or join up as a small group.
There are six mountain challenges to choose from. If you want to mimic our Snowdon challenge, you can walk 14.5km on a single day or over a few days if your little troopers want to get involved. If you fancy a bigger challenge you could take on the equivalent of the journey to Mount Everest Base Camp. You could ride, run or walk 130km! All of the options are below – Take your pick!
Louise, Founder of Little Troopers said; “Our Snowdon trip is so special as it commemorates how our charity began. We want as many people to join us either in person or in spirit. The Virtual Challenge pack has everything you need to plan your own event; advice on choosing your challenge, how to register and sponsorship advice along with a form. Please take lots of pictures and send them through to inspire others!”
Every Little Trooper who completes a virtual challenge that is registered will receive a certificate and a medal. To find out more click here.
