Little Troopers is so excited to be launching a new fundraising event for all the great British Bakers who want to support the charity. We are thrilled that Beca Lyne-Pirkis, Semi Finalist from the fourth series of the Great British Bake Off is supporting us in our new venture to encourage everyone to Get Cakey for Little Troopers.

We are launching Get Cakey to encourage everyone to get baking for coffee mornings, afternoon tea or just a catch up with friends and raise money for the charity. Beca was keen to support our new initiative as she has first-hand experience of being a mum to two little troopers. Beca’s husband serves with the Royal Army Medical Corps.

Louise, our charity founder said “Some of our most successful fundraising events over the last 12 months have been…CAKE events so we created a special pack to help you put on your own Get Cakey for Little Troopers fundraiser. We spoke to some of our amazing fundraisers who have held their own cakey fundraisers and they have shared some of their top tips to help you along the way.”

Beca Lyne-Pirkis said “The support that such a fantastic and specialist charity like Little Troopers can give military families is invaluable. They understand all the ups & downs that happen when you’re in the military community. Children of all ages struggle with the daily issues of growing up, throw in all the fun and games that come from being in a military family and it just throws additional challenges and emotions for them to deal with.  Little Troopers work is so important and what better way to help than by getting cakey!”
