Calling all young writers, budding journalists and creative minds. We need you! We’d love children over 5yrs old from the British Armed Forces community to send stories for the Little Troopers Gazette. We are working on the next edition and would love to see your articles before the 9th March 2023.
The Little Troopers Gazette is packed with content written by and for military children. The newspaper is a place where young people can come together to share their experiences of military life in print. They can also read about other little troopers around the world who are just like them
Louise, founder of the charity said, “This will be our seventh edition of the gazette. The newspaper gets sent to families, schools and other organisations that have contact with military children. We love the fact that our little troopers are part of its production. If your child would like to be a published journalist send us your story over the next couple of weeks.”
How can I get involved?
To get involved and be in with a chance of featuring in the newspaper, visit the Little Troopers website. You can choose from topics including ‘My Military Life’, ‘What My Parent Does’, ‘My School’ and ‘Where I Live’. We’re also looking for reporters aged 8+ to interview local military personnel, write sports reports and explore military history events. Each topic has a template or downloadable content guide on our Little Troopers Gazette page to get children started.
The Little Troopers Gazette is distributed far and wide and a copy is included in every e50K welcome box. E50k works with Amey Defence Services to place a beautiful welcome box into every new home* for military families.
