All Together Teen Residential – register your interest now!

Following the announcement of our All Together online workshops we’re excited to announce the next phase – our first teen residential.  The All Together project aims to bring together children who have a parent deployed. The residential and workshops will give them the opportunity to meet with others in a similar situation.

Louise, founder of our charity, said: “All Together” is the only tri-service initiative open to all military children who have a parent deployed. Our aim is to reach as many children as possible and bring them together in different ways. We’ve already seen from past events that activities like these help them feel part of a special community. Being a little trooper can be tough, it really helps to meet others who are going through the same experience.”

All Together Deployment club – Teen Residential

The All Together residential will be for 25 tri-service military teens (aged 13+) whose parents are deployed over half term.  Taking place in Richmond, North Yorkshire at the Marrick Priory Outdoor Residential Centre, the teens will stay for two nights. During their stay they will be able to make new friends and enjoy a packed itinerary of outdoor adventures.  Activities include rock climbing, high ropes, raft building and archery. The charity will also be running some military wellbeing sessions across the weekend, helping the children to explore some of the unique challenges they face as a forces teen.

Families who are interested in the Residential will need to register their interest here.  Louise adds “We are expecting this event to be popular so please do not make plans until we have confirmed that you have a space.” There will be a second residential in Spring 2023 in Hampshire.

All Together Deployment club – Workshops for under 10s

Also don’t forget, this Autumn, we have a series of exciting live online events aimed at children under 10. Kicking-off with a very special workshop with Pineapple Dance Studios, there will also be mindfulness sessions, science, space and baking activities. There is something for everyone! Each interactive session will start by welcoming all the little troopers and introducing them to each other. Workshop hosts will remind them what a special part they play in our unique Armed Forces community. Families can now book on to the sessions here.

The latest Little Troopers All Together events have been funded by the Veterans Foundation, Greenwich Hospital, HDH Wills, Henry Sale Foundation and The Prince of Wales Charitable Fund.
