Following the success of our previous visits to Royal Hospital Chelsea, applications are now open for our next event. On the 26th August 2026 we will be hosting a small group of little troopers at the iconic home of the Chelsea Pensioners. These lovely intergenerational events give your little troopers a chance to spend some time with the Veterans and tour the hospital grounds.
Louise, founder of our charity said, “These visits are so special. It is always lovely to see and understand just how much these two generations have in common. Many Pensioners raised their own little troopers, who are now adults. They love to hear about the experiences of today’s military children. It is always a special day building memories that both groups will remember.”
On the day the Pensioners will show you and your little troopers around the Hospital grounds. You will discover centuries of history and some great stories behind the building King Charles II founded. The tour will be followed by lunch and a fun workshop. The Chelsea Pensioners and Little Troopers will have the chance to meet and chat while making miniature Pensioners’ Tricorne hats.
How to apply
We have a limited number of places for these exclusive workshops. The event is suitable for little troopers aged from 5-10 years old. As it is during school holidays we are advising parents to apply now, you don’t want to miss out!
