Shine in the next Little Troopers Gazette! How would you like to see your name in print? We are officially calling out to our “little troopers” to send in their stories, poems, and reports for the upcoming edition of the Little Troopers Gazette.
Louise, Founder of the Charity said, “If you’re looking for a creative project, why not take up our story challenge? You could grab a pen and interview your Mum or Dad about why they joined the military, write a poem, or even a sport report. The Gazette is all about featuring your own stories—We love to let our military children shine.”
The Gazette is sent to hundreds of families, schools, and organisations across the British Armed Forces community. It’s a place for young people to share their unique experiences of military life with others who understand exactly what it’s like.
Cyrus, aged 10, who has just sent in his story said, “It was fun to write a story for the Gazette, I can’t wait to see it in print. At first, I thought it would be hard to write 150 words, but once my mum helped me plan what I was going to write, it was easy.”
What can I write about?
If your little one loves to write, they can choose from popular topics like:
- My Military Life
- My School
- Your Little Troopers Club
- Where I Live
- Sports Report
What do I need to do?
- Write your short story – around 100–150 words.
- Photo – Don’t forget to include a photo along with the story.
- Send it to us – Email your articles to [email protected] by the 6th March 2026
