Thank you
Following the success of Series 1, we’re proud to continue the SQUAD journey with the support of BAE Systems, whose funding has made Series 2 possible. Their backing allows us to amplify more voices, share more stories and reach even more young people growing up in military families.
Series two
The second season builds on one of the concerns of our young people. Through our work we have heard their concerns about what their futures may look like. They are wondering how frequently moving throughout their school years may affect their career choices? In the next five episodes we are going to talk to adults who grew up in military families and have gone onto do amazing things.
Adam Handling MBE
In the first episode we spoke to Adam Handling MBE, an award-winning Michelin star chef. Adam shares stories from his inspiring career and how he believed his experience of being a little trooper has helped in his adult life.
Bringing inspiration
Louise, our charity founder, said, “I love this series. There are so many adults in the country who have grown up in military families. It’s been fascinating to find out the qualities from their upbringing that they have used in their life and work. We’ve bought together a lovely selection of people in a variety of careers, that we hope will inspire our community.”
