Merry Christmas!
We want to wish all of our little troopers and their families a very merry Christmas from our team.
The last few weeks have been manic, with 2,000 Christmas boxes spreading smiles around the country, hosting lots of little troopers at Royal Hospital Chelsea and arranging cinema trips and tickets to local pantomimes! Along with that we had weekly give-aways and one very special surprise for one of our families…

Louise, founder of our charity said, “I know it’s hard if you have someone deployed over the festive period. We’re sending you all big hugs and hopefully our Christmas boxes are bringing some smiles. Parents, please try and take five minutes for you – be kind to yourself. I hope your family will be back together soon.”

If you have someone deployed, don’t forget that we have lots online to support your family:
- Free downloads including separation diaries, Time difference sheet and our X-Ray of Feelings for parent going away.
- Therapy videos to help you talk to your little one about how they are feeling.
- Crafty Little Troopers activities can give the children something to focus on. We have Christmas crafts, but also several that can help with separation such as Separation paperchain, Keepsake book and welcome home bunting. There are also some mindfulness colouring sheets that could provide a peaceful project for everyone!
Louise, adds, “The Little Troopers team is having a few days of over the festive break. We’ll be back in January and back to 100 miles an hour! We have so much planned for 2026 and can’t wait to get started.”
