Are you ready for Fundraise February? February is our month to focus on fundraising and we would love all of our supporters to join us. Half Term gives the perfect opportunity to organise a challenge or cake sale with your little troopers.
Louise, founder of our charity said, “As a small charity, we review our work and start each year with the aim to help even more little troopers. We have lots planned for this year and we can only put these plans into action with your help. Fundraise February provides a boost to our income and we have lots of ways for you get involved.”
Get Cakey
Some of our most successful fundraising events have been CAKE events. In celebration we created our Get Cakey for Little Troopers fundraiser. We have put together a resource pack with everything you need to help you organise your own. As an added bonus six of our celebrity friends, including Dame Joanna Lumley, have shared their favourite bake recipes.

Mountain challenge
If you fancy getting out and getting active over half term you could take on a virtual mountain challenge. We have worked out the distance of some of the world’s mountains so you can cover the kilometres in your own unique way. Check out our challenge here.
Read-a Thon
If the weather is rubbish you could challenge your little ones with a read a thon. Why not see how many books they can read in a week! You could see if your child’s teacher will set it as a challenge for the whole class. Everything you need for the read a thon is here.
If you cannot commit to an event in February, there are lots of ways that you can still support us:
- You can raise funds for us through your everyday online shopping through Give as you live.
- You could also set up a birthday fundraiser on Facebook.
- Signup for our Tidworth 10k and family fun run, taking place on the 13th April 2025.
- Put the 6th September 2025 in your diary – You can join us for our annual Snowdon Mountain climb.
