Six weeks of the summer holidays can feel endless, but please don’t worry we can help. We have 51 activities to keep your little ones busy in our Crafty Little Troopers website section. There’s something for everyone, activities for the whole family or quiet projects that they can do on their own.
Louise, founder of the Charity says: “The increase in the cost of living is affecting so many families right now. We know it can be tough and expensive finding activities to keep our little troopers busy and particularly hard if you are coping alone due to deployment. Our Crafty Little Troopers sheets were created to give you some help. Some are military themed and can help your through separation; take a look.”
With 51 activities you’ll find lots of inspiration. There are colouring sheets, wordsearches and a maze. If you want something more creative you can find guides to help you make countdown jars, tambourines, bird feeders and door hangers. For the bakers our there we have recipes for Camo cupcakes and pancakes.
For something extra fun why not organise a family awards evening? You could dress up and make a special dinner. We have lots of certificates online and also some gorgeous affirmation cards that can be used to give everyone in your family a boost.
We would love to see your crafty creations. When they are complete please take a photo and share on social media with the hashtag #craftylittletroopers.
