Snowdon Trek raises over £10,000

On  6th May 2018 over 75 people came together and climbed Mount Snowdon to raise funds for Little Troopers. The group including 18 children climbed 975 metres to the peak of Wales’ tallest mountain in the heat of the May sunshine that was enjoyed over the bank holiday weekend. The youngest Little Trooper to scale the mountain was Poppy at just 5 years old who completed the challenge with her serving RAF dad.

This event  is run every other year and has become an important fundraiser in the charity calendar with this years fundraising total being the highest ever raised by the event!

Bartlett Mitchell one of the UK’s leading independent caterers helped by contributing over £4,000 to the donations raised by sending a team along to get involved and fundraise.

It really was a weekend full of achievement and pride for all.

The total with gift aid raised currently stands at  £10,622.25, Louise Fetigan founder of Little Troopers said “I am blown away by the amount raised by this event, it is how the charity began and means a lot, this year we had over 75 people scale the mountain which was so special”
