Over 30 Little Troopers from in and around West London had an amazing day out with the Chelsea FC Foundation coaches on Sunday 25th September at RAF Northolt. The children, who all have at least one parent serving with the British Armed Forces, were given a VIP training session at the Royal Air Force Base. The event was organised by the charity Little Troopers.
Louise Fetigan, founder and operations manager of Little Troopers said, “The children all had a great day learning lots of tips and tricks on the football field. I talked to several families who have a parent currently serving away from home and they were so excited to go home and write to their parent who was away about their day.”
One parent whose Little Trooper attended the day said “I just wanted to thank Little Troopers for organising the football day with Chelsea FC today. Both of my kids absolutely loved it, as soon as we got in the car to leave, they were asking if they can come again. Thank you all for a great day!”
