Little Troopers were completely overwhelmed to receive a cheque for £3,927 recently from the Sporting Bears Motor Club. This club of classic car and sports car enthusiasts have chosen to support Little Troopers and raise funds through their Dream Rides events.
At their event days drivers and passengers can have a drive in their dream car for a charitable donation.
Louise Fetigan Founder of Little Troopers said “The Sporting Bears club have been so fundamentally supportive to our charity and the recent donation has had such a huge impact at a time when funds were very low. The donation has gone directly into enabling the Little Troopers Treasures app to continue being maintained and run, the app keeps serving parents and their children connected by storybook recordings and is a vital resource for military families. A huge thank you from all at Little Troopers for supporting all the little troopers who need us”
A spokesperson from the club said “It’s a pleasure to send Little Troopers this money; I know we have some other fund raisers planned for you across the year, just glad that we could help in some way as we know it hasn’t been easy of late. ”
Since the Club was formed in 1989 the Sporting Bears Motor Club has raised over £2,000,000 for children’s charities in the UK.
