We’re so excited to announce that we’ve been chosen as one of four charities for this year’s Telegraph Christmas Appeal. The National Newspaper will be raising funds and featuring stories of our work and families over the next three months.
Louise, founder of our charity said, “I’m so proud that we have been given this platform and so humbled by the families who will be sharing their stories over the coming months. They may not wear the uniform, but our little troopers lives are shaped by service. Along with providing practical support, our aim is to help military children feel proud of the role they play in the Armed Forces Community and for the next three months the Telegraph is going to help us with that.”
The appeal is going to focus on the work of our charity at home and in schools. They will be highlighting key areas of work such as the Therapy Programme, Christmas Smiles and Little Troopers at School. There will also be some special features with some of celebrity friends who have kindly agreed to share their own experiences of growing up in a military family.
Help us to spread the word
We will be sharing the Telegraph stories across our social media channels. Louise adds, “Being chosen for the Telegraph’s appeal is a huge moment for us and all the families we support. Please share this fantastic news and help spread the word.”
