Sixth year anniversary of our Gazette
Hot off the press our Autumn/ Winter 2026 edition of our Little Troopers Gazette is here and we’re celebrating its sixth-year anniversary. Launched during the pandemic, our unique newspaper was so popular that it became a permanent part of our work to connect military children.
Our charity founder Louise said, “Creating the Gazette alongside our little troopers is an absolute joy. Sharing these their stories is so important because it gives our young readers a newspaper filled with children who share their experiences. We love receiving your stories and pictures—keep them coming!”
Over 30,000 Gazettes have reached military children, either delivered at home or through schools. A further 30,000 have been distributed through the E50k welcome boxes in military accommodation and this year we created a special E50k edition.
In this issue
In the Autumn Winter edition, you can read about Lillyaanna’s epic Readathon, Maci’s fun Reconnection weekend and Sofia and Bella’s Strides and Rides. These gorgeous stories are accompanied by news of our Little Trooper Clubs, some fun poppy crafts and the regular favourites – Did you know and Fun facts.
You could be in our next edition
We are always looking for stories to fill our pages. The next issue will be out in Spring 2027 and your little trooper could get their name in print. Young writers can choose from a variety of pre-set topics, including:
- My Military Life
- What My Parent Does
- My School
- Where I Live
If your little one wants to write something different, they could take on one of our specialized assignments. They could interview a local military person or veterans, compile a sports report or investigate historical military events.
