On Saturday we kicked off our Autumn online workshops season. Lots of Little Troopers joined Louise and Devon Science for a fascinating science workshop. If you missed it don’t worry as we have lots more to come.

Louise, our charity founder said; “The All Together programme is about bringing military children together for exclusive events and activities. The workshops are great for families going through a deployment. They can help to keep children entertained at the weekends and make them feel like special little troopers.”

Taking place online, the sessions are aimed at 4-11yr olds from across the entire Armed Forces community. Whether families are posted in the UK or overseas, everyone can take part.

This Season’s Workshops

This Autumn we have a variety of online activities, so there is something for everyone:

4^th October – Dinostar  – Come online to see genuine and replica dinosaur fossils including replica teeth and claws, dinosaur footprints and even a real dinosaur egg. There’ll be a short presentation and then a chance for your little ones to ask all of their Dinosaur questions.

18^th October – The Brick People  – Think you know LEGO? Think again! These sessions will put your building skills to the test… under pressure! (but just a little bit!). You’ll tackle the Tallest Tower Challenge and maybe even try your hand at a round of “BRICKtionary.”

29^th October – Cook Stars – A special online baking session to make something yummy for the Autumn.

15^th November – Space Detectives – Come with Jo from Space Detectives and investigate the science behind space rockets! We will learn about the history of rockets as well as how they work and then even build one of our own and launch it safely!

29^th November – Art Base – Join ArtBase for a fun, relaxed drawing class. Simple steps to follow to show how to draw your very own elephant, whilst also learning some basic drawing techniques! All you will need is a pencil, a rubber and some paper.

13^th December – Zest Dance – Every dancer needs a great choreographer, and that’s where we come in! In these fun workshops, you’ll do a warm up to funky music, before learning an energetic Christmas themed dance routine.
