We are looking for friends, organisations and families (children 8yrs+) to join our Scafell Pike Climb on 14th September 2024. 

Our charity has a history of trekking to raise funds for our work. This year we are climbing a new mountain ~ Scafell Pike.

Scafell Pike is England’s highest mountain and located in the Lake District National Park. The summit of Scafell Pike is 3209 feet high making it popular with amateur and professional trekkers.

It is a great weekend of community, fundraising and achievement for all.

We’d love you to join us but if you don’t feel you can make it in person we have a virtual challenge you can complete on the same day or around that time! We can all come together and make a huge difference.

Once again we are working with an external organisation who will guide the trek on the day and manage all our safety. The entry fee (£15pp) has been heavily subsidised by our trek sponsors and the fee will cover your guided trek, safety, medal, certificate and tea and cake post trek.

This is a bespoke event for Little Troopers with the understanding that the whole group is aware that family is the dynamic for the event. A family event usually takes on a more leisurely pace and might lead to the group being split up in various lead led groups on ability.

Ideally any children, whatever age, will have experience in walking long distances or for a long time and will need to either carry their own backpack or remain next to a parent/guardian for the duration of the event.
