Our Snowdon Team did It!

11 little troopers were a huge part of our Snowdon Team who conquered Mount Snowdon on Saturday. The military children were part of a incredible group who took on the challenge and have raised over £5,000 so far.

Our charity founder Louise, said, “These 11 amazing little troopers deserve the biggest shout-out!  Every single one not only faces the challenges of military life, but they showed grit, determination, and pure inspiration this weekend. It was no easy task, but they smashed it. I couldn’t be prouder.”

The fundraising trek is a key part of our story as it was a climb up the Welsh Mountain that inspired Louise to start the charity. This was the 7th climb and was made possible thanks to @rawadventures, who guided up safely up and back. Also a massive thank you goes to @teamforcesuk  for sponsoring this event and enabling something so special.

During our climb we heard so many incredible stories of these inspirational children. One of the families to join us were the Keys family. Phoenix (9) and Chase (12) from County Durham joined us along with their Mum Rachel. Even though Dad Sgt Wesley Keys is deployed, he made it a family affair by walking the same distance virtually to cheer them on! Rachel said “What a weekend it was as well we loved being a part of it.”

Louise added, “Thank you to all of these little troopers for filling my heart and reminding me why we do what we do, to support you every step of the way through your military childhood.”
