North Leigh C of E Primary
Military children at North Leigh C of E Primary School in Witney have raised £400 by selling their own dandelion themed artwork and cakes. The group organised a special assembly to share their unique experiences of growing up as a service child with other friends in school. They then made special dandelion paintings and themed cakes to represent the fact that the dandelion is the official flower of the military child – blooming wherever the wind carries it and thriving in a broad range of climates.
Brockhurst Primary
Brockhurst Primary School ran their own ‘Super Troopers Day’. They invited parents and other members of the local community to come along. Their ‘Super Troopers’ event included a cake sale, crafts and games. Together they raised over £200.00 for Little Troopers!
Curridge Primary
Chloe the ELSI & Service Children’s Champion at Curridge Primary School organised a Fancy dress and Get Cakey bake sale. The children at the school had so much fun and raised £227.55 for Little Troopers!
