Our day with e50K

Our day with e50K – Last week Louise and Marie, represented our charity at the @e50k_uk and @amey_uk ‘Move you in box’ pack. Our Little Troopers Gazette has been included in the boxes since 2022.

Charity founder Louise said, “It was a super wholesome day joining many others to help pack the boxes. We love the fact that little troopers have a copy of our Gazette as gift of their own in the ‘move in box’.”

e50k, a not-for-profit social enterprise is a collective of military spouses, who understand the toll frequent home moves puts on the family. E50k works with Amey Defence Services to place a beautiful welcome box into every new home* for military families.

This batch of ‘Move In boxes’ contains the sunny yellow edition of our Little Troopers Gazette. The special limited edition was launched to help celebrate Month of the Military Child. In this issue there is a special feature about letters from a World War Two Little Trooper and our regular columns of fun facts, news stories and a delicious cake recipe.

You can still get a copy of our latest Gazette, even if you are not moving home. You can order your issue here. The Little Troopers Gazette is free. We send to schools, welfare teams and abroad to our base in Cyprus. You can request a bulk order for up to 50 copies.

Would you like to be one of our Reporters?

Your child could be our next budding reporter! You could see their name in print in the next issue of our Little Troopers Gazette. Louise adds, “The gazette is great way to share our little troopers news. We love hearing from our budding reporters, anyone can submit an article.”

We welcome articles from children of any age. On our special website page you will find templates, top tips for writing and lots of ideas of subjects to write about.

* These are only distributed to homes within an Amey managed region of the UK
