Happy New Year! We’re busy making lots of plans for the new year, but we can only make it happen with your help. Over the last two years we have received funding to elevate our School’s project. Now the funding has been utilised, we need everyone to help us raise funds to continue our work! You can sign up now to raise some money during Fundraise February.

We have lots of ways you can get involved whether you are 5 or 95 years old we would love your support. You can host a Get Cakey event, sign your children up for a Read-a-thon or take on a challenge event. Everything you need to plan and start fundraising is online.

Louise, founder of the charity said; “For the last two years we had some incredible funding for our schools project and Little Trooper of the Month. We also had some amazing families fundraising through bike rides, walks and runs, making things to sell and birthday fundraisers on Facebook. This year we want to embark on a training project to get our resources out into schools, set up a residential trip for little troopers and continue our work in celebrating our amazing military children. This is why we need even more people to help.”

In addition to a Fundraise February event you can sign up for one of these initiatives to help Little Troopers throughout the year:

• Select Little Troopers as your preferred charity on amazon smile – every time you shop a donation will be made to our charity
• Set up a birthday fundraiser on Facebook – 53 people have chosen to donate to Little Troopers over the last two years and raised an amazing £5,092!
• Sign up to Give as you Live – by shopping through this website the charity will receive a donation. There are over 5,500 online stores including the big supermarkets, travel companies and fashion stores.

Louise adds “The fundraising you do for Little Troopers is so important and so appreciated. We are a small charity with a big heart doing the very best we can to ensure the children of our British Armed Forces have specific support for the unique challenges they face due to their parents chosen career.”
