As 2nd week of Fundraise February begins, we’re delighted to announce that Ragnarok Competitions donated £1,000 to our charity. The online raffle competition website raises money for charity and they chose Little Troopers as one of its beneficiaries.
Aaron, Brett, Eric and Jim set up Ragnarok Competitions. Jim, one of the Directors said “We are from a military background and we created the Ragnarok community because we want to support various charities close to our hearts whilst having fun with our friends and family, the Ragnarok Community. Lots of people in our community suggested that we support Little Troopers, as many have received support from them. We are delighted to be able to donate £1,000 to help them support even more military children.”
The money for Little Troopers was raised by raffling prizes on our website. They also have our ‘Charity Battles’ where the entirety of the money raised goes into the charity coffers too. The prizes are donated by the team, community or generous shops.
Louise, founder of the charity, said “We are so grateful to Aaron, Brett, Eric and Jim as their donation will truly help us with our work. As a small charity every penny of money raised makes a big difference. This news has given us a real boost for Fundraise February, we hope that others will follow in Ragnorak’s footsteps.”
There is still time to organise your own Fundraise February event. You could host a Get Cakey event or sign the children up to do a Read-a-Thon.
