little troopers raise over £3,000 to help others

An army of little trooper fundraisers have raised over £3,000 in two years for our charity.  These wonderful military children organised a whole variety of activities to raise the money because they wanted to help others like them.

Louise, founder of our charity said, “We are overwhelmed by the generosity and spirit of our little fundraisers. It’s not about how much you raise, or how far you go in your challenge, it really is about taking part. The fact that they wanted to get involved and do their best to help other little troopers makes them AMAZING in our eyes.”

Recently Zara, Jasper and Cyrus signed up for a Read-a-Thon, Maddy ran walked, skipped and danced her way round 10km of Dishforth Airfield and Millie rode her bike for 15 miles as part of Fundraise February.

Millie raised an amazing £80 and her Mum told us: “She wanted to help raise money for little troopers because they send the children lots of lovely teddy bears and books when their daddy’s are away. She also loves their app where daddy can leave her stories to listen to and messages from him to her.”

If you are interested in raising some money for our charity, but are not sure what to do we have lots of ideas and inspiration. On this web page you will find stories from other little fundraisers and a list of fundraising ideas. Alternatively, you could sign up for a read-a-thon or organise your own ‘Get Cakey’ cake sale.

We have everything you need to get started, here:

Louise adds, “We want to say thank you to all of our supporters. As a small charity every penny raised makes a huge difference.”
