Happy New Year

“The first day of the year and decade is one of excitement for many and lots of us are making New Year’s resolutions. Mine is one that I hope many of you will join me in, I will be planning my Get Cakey event as part of Little Troopers Fundraise February this year.” Says Louise, Founder of Little Troopers.

Fundraise February is just a few weeks away: The month provides a focus for fundraising and lots of businesses and our supporters love to get involved.

Get Cakey for Little Troopers is to be the fundraising initiative of the month and we’re over the moon that Beca Lyne-Pirkis from the fourth series of the ‘Great British Bake Off’ has joined the Get Cakey team. Beca has first-hand experience of Military life as her husband serves with the Royal Army Medical Corps and she has shared some of her military and baking experience in a fantastic Q&A and top baking tips.

All of the resources for Get Cakey can be found on our website and the first 50 people to register a Get Cakey event will receive a super special event pack.

Louise adds “Little Troopers is a small charity with big aims and we rely on funding from individual supporters and companies to help us continue our work. It would be fantastic if you could sign up to support us this year, if you are not a baker there are so many ways you can get involved”

If Fundraise February doesn’t work for you, you could sign up for our  Snowdon Trek in May. Alternatively, you can help us spread the word about our work by speaking to other military parents, telling your children’s school about our Little Troopers at School project or sign up as a Little Troopers Champion?
