Joanna Lumley, Harry Hill, Kelly Holmes and others are joining us for our Get Cakey event for Fundraise February. Seven of our famous friends have provided their favourite cake recipes to help us raise lots of money to support our little troopers.
Louise said, “Every February we have a focus on fundraising. I love baking and wanted to create a simple event that can help us raise vital funds for our work. In 2024 we will be asking our community to organise a Get Cakey event. I’m thrilled that so many of our famous friends have leant us their support.”
Joanna, Harry and Kelly will be joined by Andy McNab, Levison Wood, Richard Jones and JJ Charmers.
Louise adds, “We’re asking schools to organise a cake sale on the 9th February 2024 as a perfect start to the half term. In addition, we would love families to get together and organise a Get Cakey event during half term.”
Our celebrity recipes along with resources to help you organise a Get Cakey event will be on our website. There you will find an organiser pack, bunting, menu page and poster. You can also order a Get Cakey pack, which include stickers, badges and chefs hats to decorate.
Every single penny of money raised goes directly back into ensuring the support we provide to military children can continue. It funds vital projects and resources, such as Little Troopers at School, our Little Troopers Gazette and Little Troopers Therapy programme. These programmes are fundamental for the children of our British Armed Forces.
