Our amazing supporters have helped us raise over £2,000 during Fundraise February and the money is still coming in.
All kinds of fundraisers got involved this year from small businesses to our awesome network of friends and supporters; familiar faces as well as new friends. We were overwhelmed by the number of small businesses that got involved, from bunting to nursery prints, deployment journals, greetings cards and beautiful bracelets to name a few.
We also put the Bake Off to shame with so many of you organizing coffee mornings and cake sales. Louise, founder of the charity, who also raised her own coffee morning event, said: “This year’s Fundraise February has been SO FAB!!!! It has been lovely to see how many people have got involved and organized fundraising events. As you know we are a small charity £2,000 will help us grow our schools project and keep our Little Troopers Treasures app running.”
Shellie Wroe, one of our Little Troopers Champions took on a 5K obstacle race with her Partner Gary, she said: “It was fun, hard work but fun, some of the obstacles were a nightmare because I am short lol, but with the help and support from Gary (he did get his soldier head on, felt like I was doing my own Army fitness test at times lol) we both completed it in a great time.” Shellie and Gary raised £150.
