As the children return to school and we look forward to seeing what 2019 brings, Little Troopers wants to encourage everyone to think about our charity as they make their plans. Every year the charity encourages everyone to organise a fundraising event as part of Fundraise February.

The charity’s annual fundraising campaign takes place during Valentines month, as it is the love between a parent and child that keeps families bonded despite the time they spend apart.

Louise Fetigan Founder of the charity said; “We have lots of plans for this year, but as a small charity we rely on voluntary donations to carry out our work. Fundraise February is a great time for us all to get together and raise money for our Little Troopers. This year will be our seventh Fundraise February and we want as many people as possible to get involved. In the past we have had support from Bank branches, Schools, coffee morning groups and our Little Troopers themselves who have baked cakes, arranged collections and washed cars to raise funds.”
