Remembering the sacrifice of our Armed Forces

Remembrance Sunday is a poignant event for the whole Nation, but especially for those serving in our Armed Forces. Little Troopers have the perfect way to help the whole family prepare for the Remembrance weekend.

Across the country, Towns and Villages are displaying the poppy on lampposts and in special displays. We are encouraging your little ones to add to the poppy displays in your own home by making their own. In our Crafty Little Trooper website section you will find an activity sheet and template to make your own poppies.

Louise adds “We have had so much positive feedback from families about the poppy making craft, children love to colour and cut their petals out. We know that it also helps families talk about the significance of Remembrance day and why we reflect on our Nation’s sacrifice.”

Our crafty activity sheets tell you everything you need and give easy to follow directions to help you make your own creation. You can find the poppy sheet and lots of others (including lots of Christmas activities) here.
