14-year-old Kiki is a fantastic fundraiser raising over £1,500, over five years, for our charity. Kiki’s Dad serves with the Royal Air Force and as a little trooper she wanted to help others like her. Kiki has raised her money in a variety of ways, but her new challenge is a 10k Inflatable assault course!

Kiki told us “I decided to start raising money for Little Troopers because I felt so grateful that they chose me to go to LaplandUk when Dad was away for Christmas. I remember really missing him but felt thankful that I got to share my memories with him. I also enjoyed time at GoApe when my Dad went away a few years later. I have never done that before and it was such fun! I want to raise more money for children like me. So, they too can have special memories to share with their parents when they are deployed. Little Troopers really means a lot to me.”

Louise, founder of our charity said: “Kiki shows us that every pound raised can make a difference. Over the last few years, she has been finding ways to fundraise for us. She sold her bike and has taken on some physical challenges. She also collected sea glass from her local beach and made them into keyrings to sell. We are so touched that Kiki is still thinking of us and wants to help lots of other little troopers”

Kiki has been supported by our charity in a variety of ways through her military journey.  As a family they have used many of our free online resources and received support from our Therapy programme. In addition to Lapland and Go-Ape, which is part of our All-Together deployment programme.

Kiki’s next adventure

Kiki’s Dad is now deployed again and won’t be home until the end of the summer holidays.  Even though Kiki is a few years older – her passion for raising money for Little Troopers has never faulted. Kiki will be running a 10k Obstacle Course in Southampton.
