We want to invite you to join us for our Fun Day in Aldershot. The family day, taking place on the 28th April, is being organised in celebration of Month of the Military child.
The event will be held alongside our first running event with people running 10k and others joining the fun run. Whether you are a runner or not we would love to see you. Children and adults can come along and enjoy:
- Face painting
- Circus skills workshop
- Dandelion craft tent
- Crazy golf
- Balloon modelling
- Hair braiding
- BFBS Ice Cream van (11.00am)
- Waffles and crepes
Louise, founder of our charity, comments: “We’re looking forward to bringing the Aldershot community together in support of all our amazing little troopers. It’s going to be a really fun day. It doesn’t matter if you just want to run the 10K or if running isn’t your thing. We’re happy if you just want to come along to the family fun run and take part in the activities. Everyone is welcome and your support means a lot to our charity and to all the little troopers out there.”
Three-year-old Max Merry, whose Mum and Dad both serve in the British Armed Forces, is joining in the fun run. Max’s family and friends have sponsored him, so he can raise money for our charity and support other military children like him. Max has already reached £500 and hopes to hit his target of £750 before the end of the weekend.
