Isaac Charnley
October 2017
Isaac is just 10 years old and tragically lost his mum suddenly whilst on our family holiday in Greece in August 2017.
Isaac’s dad who serves at Middle Wallop told us “Joanne, Isaacs mum had gone back to the beach for a rest and a cold drink whilst watching us on a diving experience. It was then that she suffered a fatal heart attack. Isaac has been a tower of strength not only was he supporting myself but his big sister too. On our return home he continued to not only support Grace and I but everyone else whether they were friends, family or an acquaintance. He is always ready with a joke, a riddle or with his infectious smile.”
David continued “Isaac has made all of us, his mum included, very proud since that fateful day and continues to do so as so far he has become a school house captain, an ambassador and not forgetting his school awards for his amazing work! Every day he makes me proud to be his dad!”
Isaac was nominated by his headmaster who told us on hearing of the award “He really is the epitome of a Little Trooper!”
Louise Fetigan, founder of Little Troopers said “Isaac is an inspiration, to go through such a tragic loss and to continually be a support to those around him is amazing, he is a total credit to his family. We want to send all our love and hugs to Isaac and his sister, everyone at Little Troopers is thinking of you at this really difficult time. Absolute Little Troopers”
