Bradley Robinson, aged 8.
Bradley was nominated by his mum Bev. The last year has been horrific for the Robinson family, they had a house fire in their army quarter and lost everything they owned, after the fire they were rehoused miles away so the children had lost everything and then all the friends they had made.
Our children have been fantastic and kept everyone smiling, the Robinsons have spent the last year rebuilding and replacing everything, through this period Bradleys daddy spent 2 months in Canada through the summer and deployed to Afghanistan in November and was away over Christmas.
Bradley deserves extra recognition, he’s epileptic and the last three months he’s been in and out of hospital having scans, tests, medication changes which have affected his personality and mood. His younger sisters have had to deal with daddy being away and mummy being in hospital with Bradley a lot too.
It’s been a really tough year and the family were reunited in April 2014 when their soldier SSgt Mike Robinson, REME returned home.
Louise Fetigan, founder of My Daddy is a Soldier Adventures says
“Sometimes everything comes at once and that can be really testing for a family, Bradley not only has had to deal with being poorly, in and out of hospital but also while his daddy has been away for monthsin Afghanistan, he has shown he’s a really strong Little Trooper”
